Hawaii Volcanoes National Park

The active lava flow
The one mistake we did at the park was wait until the end to walk towards the active lava flows. My knee and my ankle
were very sore, not to mention my blisters on top of blisters, so the closest we got was about three miles away from the active flow.
This photo was actually taken at nite, with my shutter held open for thirty seconds. You can see the orange lava in the distance.
If, I ever make it back there, the hike to the active lava flows will be the first thing that I do. This whole park was great!
